Dental implant

Immediate Loading

Our dental surgeons have specialised in fitting Immediate Loading implants. The main difference to the conventional method is the short duration of the treatment. This new technique does not require a long toothless healing period of 3-6 months which is normally needed for the implants to settle into the tooth socket or jawbone. With the Immediate Loading treatment, the implant can be fitted in the same time as the procedure of your tooth extraction and immediately the implant will have charging power. Even if there are no teeth left it is often possible to use this technique. The dental technician will immediately start manufacturing your crown, bridge or prosthesis, and you will be home within a week with totally renewed teeth.
The success rate of this type of implants is extremely high; between 95-97%. The treatment will be executed under local anaesthesia, you will experience no pain at all.

Minimal Invasive Surgery

In case the quality of the jawbone is good enough, the dentist can fit the implant direct into the bone without cutting into your gingival using the Minimal Invasive Surgery technique. No stitches are needed and complication risks are almost eliminated compared to the traditional method. The great advantage is mainly none or almost no after pain and swelling will occur and the gingival does not need any healing time. This facilitates a fast impression procedure for your crown, bridge or prosthesis. Not only will this technique provide a fast, new denture, the treatment time the client will spend in the chair will be shortened considerably. Good after care for your implants is crucial. The dentist will therefore advise you how to keep your restoration and gingival in good condition. Read our excellent warranty conditions.

A crown is a prosthesis serving as a permanent replacement for a tooth or molar.

It features a cover over a tooth or molar grinded down previously. It is also possible to attach a crown to an implant. The crown will be cemented onto the original tooth or implant and so the original functions will be restored. If necessary, the dentist will apply a local anaesthetic. A good maintenance of your new teeth is crucial and therefore the dentist will explain with tips and advice how to keep your denture in good condition after your treatment.

Materials

Crowns are manufactured from different materials, like metal, porcelain and zirconium. The dentist will advise you which material is the most appropriate for your crowns depending on your own specific situation. Often there are several possible choices. Naturally the choice is yours.
